I beat hell's precipace with a group in which no one went below half health once, we joked around a lot and everyone knew what they were doing. Everyone was good natured as well, so we had a very rare kind of PUG.
I, being the idiot that I am, didn't friend's list anyone.

1, Bought a 100k bow and then customized it, and now I want to delete my ranger, but I wont.
2, I brought Fissure Armor
3, I brough 3x 100k Swords
4, Told everyone about my invincimonk starting a craze
5, Ruined Underworld so now its impossible to find a monk for a party if I wanted to go there with a warrior.
6, Created a water elementalist, payed 10k to be rushed from ascalon to droknors and crafted 1.5k armor for her. the day after, i deleted her.
7, I replied to this thread for no reason.

I'm an idiot. Because I wanted to experiment with a Mesmer in pre-searing I just deleted my E/Ne, which had barely reached seared Ascalon. But I remembered afterwards that I had transfered a rune of major fire magic and a rather expensive hale staff head to her, some other cheaper stuff too. Crap!

A team and I got to Temple of Ages. I saw the ghostly guy and got interested...payed 1k gold to get teleported to the Fissure of Woe (I didn't know at the time) only to return because no one was expecting to go there, we only had 5 people, and no healer...goodbye 1k gold!

I replaced a +10 energy staff head on my first gold drop with a +10 health staff head.
(+10 was the max for insightful staff heads when the game was realesed)
Now I'm willing to offer 5KK for 1 of them (+10 energy staff head). Thats a starting bid of 5KK for it.

My very first character was a ranger and I remember going to the area where Ranger Nente was giving the quest to get a pet. When you enter the area where he can be found you immediately find some devourers and other similar bugs. Well I wasn't sure if I could take on the 3 or 4 beasties I saw so I started carefully walking around the area trying to avoid all the mobs. I did this for a long time including a lot of back tracking because I didn't want to fight 2, 3 or 4 bugs at a time.
Eventully I ended up in a corner and couldn't move in any direction without putting a mob in my aggro circle. So I remember saying "ok, here we go" thinking I was about to fight a group of devourers. Well, the lead bug walked into my aggro circle and, of course, kept walking. The other bugs did the same thing. Nothing attacked me. I remember being very confused.
So, of course, I could walk straight to the Ranger and not a single mob bothered me. What a waste of time sneaking around like that. I felt like a schmuck.

... >_<
I've never done any of those "oops extra 0 in the plat box in trade window" things... just keep all of your gold in storage and withdraw some only when needed.
Two things I've done:
The first was having a character run to Droknar's (for free, but still), buying two pieces of 1.5k armor, then deleting him the next day without spending all of his skill points. :/
The second was deleting an experimental presear character, before transferring him to Post-Searing and the storage... with two black dyes on him. :/

The dumbest thing I ever did:
I sold a nice shield to another player. Then, for some reason, I mistakenly thought he had canceled the transaction. I was pissed because we had talked for a while and I had to change characters to get him the item. I started hounding him and then started cussing him out for ignoring me ...
... when he finally responded he was baffled. To my surprise I had his money and he had the shield all along. I apologized sooo much for being an ass.

Well accidentally salvaging a gold item to get 24 piles of glittering dust will defintely make you never ever keep your identification kit next to your salvage kit.
And accidentally hitting enter just as your about to go into battle, just to make sure people know you are going backwards and strafing left by spelling out "sssssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"......-.-
